A TRUE FRIEND

One day as I sat by a window,
Alone and without a friend,
There came a voice from outside the gloom,
Asking me to cheer up and be a friend.

This wonderful friend that I now know,
Is such a vital part of my life,
Telling me to be joyful and glad,
So I’ll forget that I was ever sad.

A beautiful and real friend indeed,
One who stays when of has leave,
With a warm and cheerful smile on his face,
Always ready to make others happy.

This is specially written for my friends,
For bringing me love, comfort and encouragement,
Thank you so much for all the times in my life,
You’ve been the unique essence of air friendship.
